fandom makes me want to drink heavily every time I get within earshot of it. It makes my brain tired. I just want to look at pretty rocks and write sad stories argh.

Fandom for me is staying away from the MAIN CROWD. I just stick near the people who make me laugh, get my jokes and/or provide me with quality fic.

TBH, it's not going to change any time soon: I still have no fucking job and my student loan (with £600 removed this year because they overpaid me THREE SODDING YEARS AGO) has to last me until the 9th of MAY, ffs.

I am very tempted to just go and buy the book anyway. I like having proper books! Plus then I can go "Yes, good, isn't it? The author's a friend of mine" and be smug at people who see me reading it.

I don't think we should have to be perfect at things in order to enjoy doing them, you know? I don't draw well, but sometimes it's really just awesome to doodle. Same goes for dancing. I dance like I have two left feet and arms like noodles, but the music is there to be danced to.
