I have limited ability to cry about things, so I do basically skip straight to suicidal ideation/attempts. :(

I can't help but wonder how long it'll be before another Spirit Day, promoting awareness of people killing themselves due to poverty and absolute financial despair, bullied to death by this government. But that's the sort of head I've got on today. I'm looking back nostalgically at yesterday, when I was peaceful and it was beauty that moved me almost to tears.

Yeah, I was already thinking there might end up being stories about people committing suicide/taking their kids out with them because they feel they have literally NO HOPE now. :(

Especially considering how hard the cuts are going to hit some very vulnerable people on welfare and disability benefits. I've already had a schizophrenic & bipolar relative try to kill herself and threaten to take her kids with her years ago when finances weren't an issue. I don't want to think how the outcome might have been different with the extra strain of a fucked welfare system, or if back then she'd had her current level of illness severity and lack of competent mental health care and support. I am so, so glad the kids are no longer dependent on her.

Slowly, slowly, it is getting there. I see sine waves when I shut my bloody eyes at the moment but that's just due to theory saturation.
