Possibly the major impediment to me writing any more Inception fic (I have two started and two more summaries/ideas floating around) beyond a general high standard on my flist making sure that there are no gaps to be filled is that, er, I don't care that much about any of the characters except Eames. While I loved the film and I loved the concept

I don't see the problem with writing ALL THE EAMES IN THE WORLD. This is basically what most fans do, isn't it? We generally get focused on a character or a pairing and tend to write that most (if not all) of the time.

While I am in it for the ensemble, there is nothing wrong with focusing on one character. We know so little about his backstory or what he does on Sundays when he's not working that it leaves the field wide open for OCs, etc.
