The Toropire *glee face* I'm sort of confused by Ray taking over because I can see Mikey managing to hold onto the Waypire. I suppose it's because he is so much more interested in his hobby than running things and doesn't have the same force of personality to back him as Ray would? The idea of Ray running this is excellent and I can see this Ray doing it very well.

This is all awesome but my absolute favorite is the Mikey scenes. You write cold, slightly crazy, tortourous Mikey beautifully. I thinkt the creepiest more horrify part about this Mikey is that he's so calm about it and so still. He doesn't even seem excited by it yet the reader just knows that cutting people up is a favorite past time for him.

Mikey doesn't have anything like the social skills (ahahaha) or the charm he'd need to pull off coordinating so many disparate interests and clients, not to mention that everyone is terrified of him - his reputation, in the right circles, seriously preceeds him. It just wouldn't be practical. Also, much like Gee in the original, after losing his brother his interest in reigning is kind of replaced by grief and isolationism.

Thank you. That was pretty much a real selling point of Jess's characterisation in the original, I wanted to hang onto it.

I love the Bert and Quinn and Vicky T thing, its magic great. I love that Vicky it his girlfriend. I love Bert biting Vicky's knees. I love the IDEA of Ray/Brian. Mikey scares the shit out of me and I love reading those bits and then I just worry for everyone's safety. I can't really get my head around the Gabe/Andy/Jepha thing because its too hurty. YOU ARE A BIG MEANIE. And the whole Dan/Pete/Patrick thing too! I fucking love it.

I love that Vicky-T is his girlfriend and I had no idea HOW MUCH I loved that until I started writing it. I would HAPPILY read thousands of words of them just beating the shit out of people. UNF.

Because i'm a giant idiot and can't read things in order, i read this before actually getting to the actual thursdayverse, but it hasn't stopped me from falling head first into it.

And i may have committed remix-jepha fanart. It's pretty much only doodles so far, but you made the last few days so awesome in my head with those fics and scenes and conversations, i thought i'd express my thanks with those (and most likely more to come, once i've worked out how to draw the other bandom guys).
