I am loving this remix!verse, but I think I will have to avoid it for a little while, otherwise I'm going to be up all night fretting over various characters' fates and that's just not good when I have so many exams to get to. xD
Pretty sure I've told you this before, but I do love the way you write Jack and John. They are just exactly the right amount of fucked up.
and there is the rattle of a chain passing through an open palm like an underscore.
Shit, but that's an amazing line right there. This is why I often hate being a writer, because when I come across such skillful imagery like that right there I can't really enjoy it because it makes a good part of my brain go all sulky because damned if I could even come close to it.
Suspect that explains why I have such a hard time reading fiction at the moment - so much energy spent going "WHY CAN'T I WRITE LIKE THIS, SULK STAMP". ;) And that simile was an asspull.
It goes without saying that I trusted Dan with Jepha approximately twelve hundred times more than I trust Gabe and Co. to take care of him, right?
You know what I like about both of these stories? That you really did just use the source material as a launching point and then (excuse the American Idol-ism) made it your own. There's so much detail in your world here that I hope they don't do anything with the Time Agency on the actual show, since it would be a disappointment.
Oh absolutely. Gabe's connection to his Cobras is a lot less ... well. They're his acolytes, not his lovers.
*G* I hope they don't either because I hate being Jossed. But thank you anyway, I am enjoying both of these stories even if I'm slightly intimidated by how much work there is in them CONSIDERING I HAVE THREE FUCKING NOVELS TO WRITE. D: I really need to get on with. Everything.

Thank you! I suspect they're slightly too fucked up for most of fandom.
