It was so tempting to keep on with the matches, to keep burning himself...at the same time, whiskey did tend to help some of those less stable mental operations. But bandages would be difficult to get through later. In the end he looks down at his hands, a his thumb's nail running through the burn on his index finger. It wasn't as if he didn't have other methods at his disposal if he needed them. ]
