There's a little hamster wandering around on a counter in search of something. Who knows how he even got up there.

Help him? Try to shoo him away? He doesn't seem to be doing any harm.]

[He stops moving to stare right back once he notices her. Now, if he could talk, he'd get right on asking her to help in his search. As it is, he's just going to keep being cute instead.]

[Oh man. To Belarus' altered sense of smell, you smell nice. Like really really nice. You're very tiny, so you'd hardly slake his hunger, but you look like the absolutely perfect little snack.

He keeps tail low and flowing behind him, trying to use shadows in the kitchen to cover himself up, very slowly creeping up behind you. Just a little bit more and he'll be close enough to strike.]

[For now, he has no clue that you're there, and happily continues looking around. He's seeking out a snack, as well, but so far proving less successful in finding it than you.]

[Lovely, target is completely unsuspecting. As silently as he can, Belarus inches just a smidgen closer, then strikes, his hand bolting out much faster human reflexes to try and snatch up the little morsel.]

[He just happens to look in your direction as you attack, and tries to run away. He's not very fast, though. Hopefully if you catch him, you'll change your mind when you see how scared he looks.]

[curse his love of all things cute. don't mind him just going to the pantry and tugging out a bag of plain sunflower seeds, opening them and setting out a handful.] Is that what you're looking for?

[They're exactly what he's looking for! He nods, then scurries over to them right away.]
