Daffodil is inside, today, in the common room. She has a book - not in english, aturally - and is struggling with it. She's made it a few pages in, though, and is making more notes on translating it than on it's content. Still, she's trying.

She looks annoyed, though.

Maybe she could do with distracting.

Link walks in while completely unaware that she's there. He hasn't been looking for her because he wants to talk more or anything at all like that. He's entirely self-sufficient.

"Hello," he says, as casually as possible "Reading?"

She looks up, and her face breaks out of it's pissed-off expression, into a beaming smile.

"Hello, Link! I was trying, but now that you're here I can legitimately give up."

She puts the book down with a vindictive thump.

"How's it going?"

"It's going fine," Link tilts his head forward and kicks at some imaginary dust, smiling wryly.

"Those books are hard, aren't they?"

She sighs.

"Yeah. I wish there were some books I could read. It's frustrating."

"Hello, Princess."

That'd be the other token Royal, Zuko, when he comes to find food for the day. Mm, lunch.

"Hello, Zuko," she grins up at him. "How are you?"

"I'm alright." And even if he wasn't, he'd never tell the girl. That'd be cruel. "How are you making out, hmm? Still struggling with the Chinese?"

SHe's surprisingly mature, really. But the narrative appreciates his sensitivity.

"Yes. It's tricky."

Rattrap walks into 202, with a thoughtful look on his face. Unlike the last time he came to this room, he's paying enough attention to his surroundings to not run into any chairs.

As he comes in, he sees the little girl there, and gives her a little smile and a quick wave.

She stares at him for a moment, but then remembers her manners and offers him a shy smil, and a half-wave in return.

Rattrap walks into the kitchen for a little bit and comes out with a can of spam. He doesn't like human food, but he's gotta make do.

He sits down at a nearby chair before starting to eat.

"Hi."

"Hello," quietly, looking at him and trying very, very hard not to stare. Too obviously.
