Daffodil doesn't sulk - but she does get bored. After all, she's an active eleven-year-old who can't let her feet touch the ground. That's really not helpful ( Read more... )

Daffodil must be at least a little bored with Angua's constant level of stress right now - living with a stressed iout werewolf isn't fun. But at least she's learned not to think about it all the time - she still has time for her little princess.

So now, while Hellboy's on guard duty, and she has time between patrols, she's out to find her, and ends up watching, leaning against the wall with one shoulder at a short distance, smiling faintly.

She sees the moss, yes.

Daffodil's pretty used to guardian figures dealing with stress. After all, her father was King. That was a pretty high-stress job. So, she makes allowances. Angua probably doesn't even notice, it's so automatic for Daffodil to act like that.

She twists her head and grins at Angua.

"Hi."

And promptly loses her balance and falls over.

"Bother."

Angua laughs, and heads over to help Daffodil up, assuming she wants it.

"Hi. You're pretty good at that."

"Better than I was," she says with a quick smile. "Still falling over though. But at least I can walk on my hands, or. . . if I could walk without falling over, that is."

There's a smallish girl watching Daffodil from a distance, expression painted with curiosity as she peers through the lenses of her glasses.

Daffodil may or may not notice.

Daffodil is pretty observant, but she's fallen over every time she's tried to look at someone s far. So she turns herself right-side-up, feet on the footrest of the wheelchair before sitting down. then she grins over. Much safer.

"Hello!"

Meg smiles, although it's a bit of an unsure one.

"Hi," she says, taking a few steps foward.

It's nice to see some-one her won age - well, close to, anyway - around here, so Daffodil's smile is still warm and friendly.

"I haven't seen you before."

Munch is also amused when he sees her.

"Hey, that's not bad, kiddo."

Hey, she doesn't fall over, this time!

"Thank you."

Still upside-down.

She's amused, Link's confused. He just came outside to read, but no. Crazy girls trying to walk on their hands. He watches her with his head tilted to the side for a while.

"...Hello," he eventually says "Do you want some help?"

Daffodil thinks about shaking her head, but comes to the (sensible) conclusion that she'd only fall over.

"No, thank you. I'm just playing. Can you walk on your hands?"

"Not really," Link shrugs "I just fall over. Kinda like you." He kneels and sets his book down - it's a reading primer, if Daffodil would notice something like that.

"That's the fun, though. Getting better."

She drops her feet down onto the footrest of her chair, and sits.

"What are you reading?" Daffodil likes books.
