[ooc: Once again, I would ask that only those ACTUALLY LEAVING WITH THE QUEST start threads in this post. Take your time as this is SLOWTIMED, of course. If your character wishes to give blessing or say goodbye or whatever, please tag into that individual's thread or on the general one that will be posted up within a minute or so of this one.]The

He'd also picked up a few pairs better walking boots from the mall when he'd been there with Parcifal, one of which is on his feet, the others get tossed in the trunk with other supplies.
Right now, the Immortal is shifting from foot to foot, breaking in the new shoes, and waiting for everyone to congregate.

He's still leaning on the bumper.

He steps away from the others, motioning for Parsifal to join him.
"Tell me honestly," he says quietly. "In my world, the Quest for the Holy Grail was considered to be symbolic. It was a way to quell the rising dissent and unite Camelot behind Arthur. They never actually expected to find anything. So tell me honestly, do you truly believe we're going to find it?"

His holster is around his waist filled with his pistols. This is all he needs, he's decided.
He walks outside and nods a greeting to those gathered. "Got room for one more? Need out."

"You nuts, stupid, suicidal, and tough as old nails?"

Really, she wants to lean against the car. Every little teenage fiber of her being says 'must lean in casual repose!', and she is fighting it. Because she's pretty sure leaning against ones car in a post-apocalyptical world is equated to asking for a caged deathmatch. And she wants to be polite on her first day on a holy quest!
So, she hovers and looks casual. And tries not to snicker at the idea of the Holy Grail out there, someplace, instead of inside someone's soul. This is place is so weiiiiird.

He looks around, not surprise to not immediately see Ed. He supposes maybe his brother is upset still with him.
The alchemist shrugs uneasily, armor clanking, and he approaches to leave with the others.

He doesn't have his bag, even though his hands flex like there should be a suitcase handle in one of them, like he should be prepped to go too.
"..are you sure you want to do this without me?" is asked.
He worries. He's an older brother. That's what they do. (Just look at Sokka and Katara! This is not just Ed! It's older brothers! It's in the job description!)

"There's a part of me that wants to you to come," Al replies honestly. "But I know you can't. Everyone needs you here, Ed. And I know I can't let you come with me. Just keep an eye on Bradley and take care of everyone -- and don't get into trouble while I'm gone, either."
To be sure, while Al is gone, he'll do his fair share of worrying. He knows he'll miss Ed severely.

Here he is.
But the largely standoffish boy reaches out to pat his brother's arm, the contact for him-- not Al. He just-- wants to take care of him.
"Come home soon. And remember what I said: if this is just that ol' Bum being a nutjob, you say 'screw you' and you come back!"
