Out of 103 comes a girl who moves - well, like she's not used to being as heavy as she is, even if that's not the heaviest in the world.
She's also someone used to people around her being variably disabled or different, so there's no reason to blink twice at a blind girl, except to say, idly:
"They haven't mention you," Mel says, thoughtfully. "Did you join them after they travelled for a while?" She hasn't spoken to Zuko yet today, so it didn't come up.
She nods, silently, before realising herself. "Yeah, she can. Lightning as well, actually."
She nods. "They came to my town looking for someone to teach Aang Earthbending, and that someone turned out to be me. Dad wouldn't let me go so I ran away."
Toph sighs. "She and her two witches-in-arms were chasing us with a huge Fire Nation tank. We, Zuko and his uncle managed to corner her in a ghost town in the Earth Nation, but she...she got away."
She doesn't say a word about Iroh's apparent demise. Since he's alive and well it's probably best not to bring it up.
"Well, we've all kinda ended up here form different worlds and times, right? There's guys here from about three hundred years in the history of my world. There's no reason they couldn't be from ayear or so before you.
"I think."
It was a valid theory before Harth truned out to actually be from her present.
"No one's got a clue," she says, still by the door. "We just all turned up here. The first lot of us have been here about six months now. Some'a the braind have been tryin' to work out how to get us back. I've been concentrating on trying to stay alive."
