I like situational threads better, because I feel more like I'm joining in with something rather than leaping out into the middle of the meme in all my side-character glory, lol.

But I like making threads, when there's something interesting I've thought up or there's a plot development I want to continue! it's exciting and fun, and makes for simpler archiving.
