Welcome to the Axis Powers Hetalia Mini Bang!

The Axis Powers Hetalia Minibang Challenge is modeled after the big-bang and mini-bang challenges of other fandoms (Harry Pottter, D.Gray-man, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, etc.) where writers and artists come together to work on fanfiction and accompanying artwork.

For this particular challenge, writers will write a five thousand (5000) minimum word fic, which will then be paired up with an artist to illustrate. Artists will be given liberty as to how many art(s) they want to do as long as you make one.

There are no restrictions on what you can write about, AU, genderbending, crossover, ANYTHING! Your story can have any pairings, or it can have none at all, and its rating can be anything you want it to be. As long as it's about Axis Powers Hetalia and its characters, it's fine.

This is the general guidelines for both writers and artists.

[Writers]
» Sign-up here!
» Stories must be a minimum of 5000 words in length. There is no maximum word count.
» Stories must be brand new, original, and haven't been posted anywhere.
» Stories may be slash, het, or gen. Any rating, genre, pairing, is acceptable.
» Stories must focus primarily on one or more of the characters/pairings from Axis Powers Hetalia. Original characters or OC nation-tans are welcome, but not as main characters.
» Alternate universes (AUs) are allowed. Crossovers are also allowed, so long as the focus is on the Hetalia characters.
» Please choose the prompts here. Only two people are allowed to do each. Do not worry, we have over 30 prompts for you to choose.
» All stories must be beta read before the final submission. The moderators will read all stories beforehand and will ask you to find a beta if we find that your fic is not properly edited.
» If you can't find a beta-reader by yourself, there will be a beta-reader sign-up post where you can look for help.
» Please submit your story with all necessary html tags already embedded. Stories will be posted in the exact format that we receive them.
» Please do not post your story elsewhere prior to the final posting date of 2nd October 2010. You may post your work at your own site/blog two weeks after.

[Artists]
» Sign-up here!
» You agree to create at least one (1) piece of art or fanvid or cosplay shoot etc. to accompany the story you're assigned to. It has to relate to the story and make sure you don't mix up and draw something completely different from the main idea of the story.
» Art can be any media (digital, water color, traditional) as long as it reflects the effort you put into it. Black and white rough sketches or re-polishing old cosplay shoots doesn't count. For fanvid entry, you must use your own artwork.
» Any rating is acceptable, so long as it corresponds to the story it's based on.
» You may choose to illustrate as many stories as you like. There will always be more writers than artists, so this is highly encouraged. However, you must complete your first assignment before taking on a second. If you are inspired, you may also do multiple pieces for one story.
» Please do not post your art elsewhere prior to the final posting date of 2nd October 2010. You may post your work at your own site/blog two weeks after.
