So I'm not truly evacuating and actually I'm moving closer to the projected storm path, but I'm moving to higher and safer ground. Work was better this past week. Mom said it would take about six weeks to get into the feel of things, and this coming week is week six. I still think I'm going to quit before Thanksgiving, though. I'm also looking for another job, just in case I can quit sooner ( Read more... )

I just said the phrase "sweet, sappy, Voldemort-y" goodness, and it kind of weirded me out. And the fic was a great one. Sometimes fandom is an unusual place.

Also, finished Diana Wynne Jones's Fire and Hemlock again, and it's a lot less confusing at 22 than at 16, though the end is still weird. *loves*
