1) I'm currently reading the first twelve or so chapters of Midnight Sun despite the fact that the rest of the book may never be finished. I'm a glutton for punishment apparently.
2) I really, really love books, even though I don't read them all that often. Honestly, I read ten times as many fics as I do books. This kind of disgusts me sometimes.
3) Although I haven't been officially diagnosed, it is very likely that I have a mild form of autism, probably Asperger's syndrome. I had to take occupational therapy as an eight year old because I couldn't throw a ball or ride a bike or write where people could understand, though I had an extremely large vocabulary and understanding of language. I was also obsessed with how things felt (physical stimuli). Though I understand other people's emotions really well (which is not common in autism), sometimes I have trouble deciding which of my own emotions are real and which I'm just feeling because other people expect me to feel them. There's more examples than just these. Upon realizing that I might have autism, a lot of my quirks in behavior make a lot more sense.
4) I used to carry these little satin nightgowns around with me when I was a little. I would put them in the refrigerator because I liked for them to be cold. I used to have a dady (little baby doll) in one hand, a nightgown in the other and my right index finger in my mouth. Yeah, I was a cute kid.
5) I've started taking speech and hearing science classes this semester, and I'm loving them. I'm absolutely fascinated by all but phonetics (and even that is only because I've already taken phonology). I'm really happy in classes right now. I wish I were taking more than just the four.
6) I'm quitting Target in less than two weeks. *happy dance* I couldn't handle being on my feet that many hours a day on top of going to class. Also, I had no desire to be a cashier when I applied, and the job that was offered to me was not a cashier position but somehow I ended up as a cashier 90% of the time. Yeah, no.
7) I check my e-mail and my blogs in the same order every day, which is not the order in which my tabs are set up.
8) I'm posting this at 11:11, at which time I always make a wish.
