Glorious. Archie's assessments of people are spot on, and his remark about the Articles of War was one of those moments that makes one both laugh and wince. I also like the way Buckland's lack of leadership is evinced not only in the lieutenants' reluctance to do their 'duties' but also in the lax behavior of the men. A small piece, but really sets the background perfectly.
