Wow - new phone ... that's pretty cool.

My existing phone was 3.5 years old and, although it still worked, the battery was absolute garbage and it had also developed some quirks. So, even though I was managing by recharging my phone several times a day, it's lovely to have a new toy. (It's not like we're spending our travel budget, after all, sigh.)

To my great annoyance NONE of my old sounds (from my S7) are still options,

If you plug your phone into your computer, with a usb cable, and rummage around enough, the .wav or .mp3 files for those sounds should exist *somewhere* on the old phone - you should be able to copy them onto your computer, and then move them to the new phone as "custom" ringtones?

LOL at Two stealing all your paints to organize your present and then it ending up meaning you got it early :D A thoughtful gift though!

I like your card - it's a neat little picture and is perfect for a card!

Sounds like a lovely Mother's Day overall!

Two was offended that I immediately got paint on the easel (doing the cat card). I pointed out that that was its purpose, lol.

I'll have to see if there's a way to access the sound files. My husband and I have Android phones and every computer in the house is a Mac - they don't always talk to each other very nicely. :-P

It was a very nice Mother's Day, definitely one of the better ones!

If you download an app called ES File Manager - or any other file manager app on the old phone, you should be able to use it to browse the folders. Once you find the ringtone, if you select it, you can probably email it to yourself - and check your email on your new phone and save it into the ringtone folder on the new phone?

I have ringtones that I have moved from phone to phone for a decade now :D
