I did end up doing that. The counselor - who, as I said, is fairly useless - didn't even have the courtesy to respond and say, "Thanks for letting me know." MiniPlu passed him in the hall and finally asked outright, "Did you get my mom's email?" *eyeroll*

Sounds like it's been a busy week for you ... as always!! I think that maybe it's worth mentioning to the counsellor just to give them a heads up so that they can keep an eye on it - they don't have to do anything but they can be aware of the situation.

What an epic cake!! I would love a cake like that!!

On the subject of Steve/Bucky recs, I made a rec post a while ago here that has a few of that pairing on it. I can also rec this fic Steve Rogers versus the Classics which I'm going to be posting about later!

I did mention it to the counselor in the end, sent him an email. Which he didn't even have the courtesy to acknowledge, not even to say, "Thanks for the heads-up" or something equally non-committal. *eyeroll* Thankfully, nothing else has come up for Two, so all's well on that end, even without the counselor's help.

I think you've got a school name in there (first sentence of "Tuesday"). Either that, or I'm just not familiar with the acronym you used.

That's so weird to me that the retreat would be on a school day... Surely there are kids who want to do confirmation who aren't in the parochial schools?

The dumpling party sounds quite fun! And nice that the impromptu sleepover worked out.

Not sure what to advise on the JN front... On the one hand, it's probably worth mentioning to the teachers just as a heads-up, not necessarily to do anything about it. On the other hand, it's March at this point and Two has, what, three months left at this school, so it likely doesn't matter if JN keeps at it.
