Poor bunnies. I know that nature is often cruel, but it's still hard, especially when something is little and cute.
Oh, and I liked that there was a Captain America exhibit at the Smithsonian, although why, specifically, at Air and Space, and not American History, I have no idea
I had that same thought! I think Steve flew a plane at some point in the first movie, but I think the American History Museum would've made more sense.
And he flew the thing that he crashed in, at the end - maybe that's why they focused on Air and Space? Or maybe the directors felt A&S has a more military feel to it already, even if there was no other Earthly reason for Steve to be memorialized there. :P
Baby bunnies are seriously among the cutest things ever. We loved just watching the nest jiggle around as the occupants kicked and squirmed underneath the their protective grass/straw/fluff. And periodically lifting up an edge so we could fawn over the tiny noses or paws or tails (or whatever was visible). Sigh. Like you said - I know these things happen, but it still made us very sad.
I haven't seen Captain America, and I did enjoy Hobbit 2 (I think we just got our DVD in the mail today, too) but it was definitely a lot less like the book than the first one was, and not nearly as good an adaptation as the LotR movies. (But I do think it probably makes a difference seeing it in theaters -- Smaug was magnificent even while the action was being silly)
BTW, this showed up on my Facebook feed and I thought you might get a kick out of it if you haven't seen it yet: world's toughest job (it's a greeting card commercial, but still)
I think it's a side effect of the meds, because although I'm definitely better, the improvement plateaued and I still feel kind of low-level nausea and not very hungry or interested in most of my "common" foods anymore. It's frustrating.
