Driving on the interstate in the US is quite easy, especially if you have a gps, so you should have no trouble driving from Pittsburgh to Jacksonville. If you were out west, you might want to plan a bit more, but in the east there are so many hotels, restaurants, and gas station that it's easy to travel without much planning. I wouldn't expect traffic jams (unless there's been an accident) outside of major cities around rush hour. I can't think of anything of particular interest between Pittsburgh and Jacksonville, but the Appalachian Mountains are nice, if you like getting out in nature. South of Jacksonville is St. Augustine, the oldest European settlement in the US. Personally, I'd not bother making reservations in hotels unless you're planning on staying in a city for more than an overnight stopover, unless perhaps you'll be travelling near the 4th of July holiday.

That's good to know, I was afraid there could be some major movement in june on the road and that it would be hard to find hotels in some places.
Thanks for the informations ^_^

Of course, I still plan to come to see you if you're still ok with it. For Ginger, she will be away before AC, so we will have to meet another time, but there will be other opportunities soon. We will see that together pretty soon ^_^
Now that I'd some more info, and have check some places, I need to write that down on paper and to see if it's doable or not. I will let you know as soon as I will be sure everything is ok :)
