Ugh such bull. She did defend miley in that video. She replied to holywoodlife talking about that video but demi obviously heard about the sinead drama. So yeah... She could of talked to miley about this instead of blasting her in public but whatever....

She defended Miley's "naked" and controversial antics in her videos/performances, etc, NOT Miley mocking mental illness, and that's what that tweet that she replied to was saying.
I could only imagine how Demi felt when just 3 days ago she was defending Miley and then discovers that Miley made fun of mental illness.
Let's remember that not only Demi has a mental illness (bipolar), but she even supports organizations that fight against the stigmatization of mental illness, and even received an award from Secretary Kathleen Sebelius for it.
If Demi was pissed when Disney made fun of eating disorders, I don't know why everybody is surprised that she was pissed that someone (no matter who - probably hurt even more from a "friend") was contributing to the stigmatizaton of mental illness.

that's what i was saying though that she was replying to her controversial antics, it wasn't talking about the mental illness mocking.

Good for Demi tbh. Someone needed to call Miley out and I'm glad it was her. Fuck the people giving her crap. Miley tweeted something incredibly stupid, so Demi had every right to say something. Sometimes a great friend is the one that calls you out on your crap and tells you that you're wrong. Some Miley fans needs to remember that.

I'm glad Demi didn't delete her tweet. I was expecting it after all the immature Smilers started hating on her, but this is something she - obviously -cares deeply about and fights for.

I couldn't agree more. I just can't at some of the Smilers literally giving Demi shit for this. They say Miley had the right to defend herself from that letter, but get mad at Demi for not agreeing with Miley and defending something that she obviously cares about? That pisses me off. Miley fucked up big time and it's about time some of her fans realize that.

Oh, and Demi was defending Miley on her new image in that video, not her mocking mental illness. Yet people stay doing the most, so whatever.

& I think Miley fans forget what kind of friendship Memi have.

"No matter how many times we fight, we will always be in each others' lives," "Miley and I are very strong-headed, so when we fight, it's brutal and we're like, 'We're never going to be friends again!' Then two days later, we're like, 'I love you and I miss you!'"

In regards to this tweet, some Miley fans blew it out of proportion & didn't need to attack Demi. She cleared up misinformation & kept it moving. That's what you're supposed to do. In conclusion, Miley has few, real friends that don't kiss her ass 24/7, & one of them is Demi Lovato.

What was Miley's original tweet about?

Miley responded to Sinead O' Connor's open letter by tweeting that "before there was Amanda Bynes", and then posting old tweets of Sinead's from a couple of years ago when she was mentally unstable and reached out asking for medication and treatment. And then she also posted the infamous picture of Sinead ripping up the Pope's picture from SNL ( ... )
