PotC: On Stranger Tides is just coming, and the moviemakers won't be able to say that they hadn't a possibility to the proper research. Queen Anne's Revenge, sunk in 1718, was discovered (supposedly) again in 1996. On The Queen Anne's Revenge Shipwreck Project site, you can read (very comprehensive and detailed!) reports from the archaeology field. You'll find there also the photographic catalogue of QAR artifacts, like this part of a bilge pump:
