This just feels weird

Trialling new contacts, with different strengths. Left eye for reading and up close work, right eye for distance viewing. I can't explain how odd it feels, but I do see what the Doc meant that if you don't think about it, it's pretty danged nifty! It's great to be able to read without burying my nose into the book.

I'm trying that out, too!

do you have trouble with the mid-range? I find my laptop use isn't conducive to seeing well with them.

I don't have a problem using laptop, if anything it's easier for me. Was reading the screen on my regular laptop (the one on the Alto stand) and I had the Netbook in front of it (transferring data) and had nary a problem reading either of them, even though the Netbook is so much smaller.

For mid-range, I find I have to blink to refocus, then all is well. Far vision is great.
