Well, I was lurking crafty_tardis the other day and I got taken by the TARDIS dishcloth in this post... so I decided to make one myself. About time I dedicated my newlyfound knitting skills to satisfy my inner Whovian. ;D

That's the TARDIS, which is the Doctor's spaceship, which can travel through time and space, and which has a cloacking devise (called a chameleon circuit) that allows it to take any shape to disguise itself wherever and whenever it lands (it's bigger on the inside).
Unfortunately, the chameleon circuit got stuck when it landed in the 1960's in London, and now it's permanently stuck looking as a Police Box, which is about the size and shape of a telephone box, only blue.
The thing is, the Doctor could, technically, fix the circuit, but he grew fond of the way it looks over the years and now he won't change it. It's the funniest thing in the world, seeing a blue box floating around in space. XD

If you do, make sure to start with the 2005 series. "Doctor Who" is a very old show, and there are hundreds of episodes around... the 2005 series continued where the old one left off after nearly a decade of hiatus, but it makes sure to explain the Whoverse to the new viewers.
It's a lvoely show, very funny, with lots of action and several heart-wrenching moments (plus the 2005 series has awesome special effects). If you're a sci-fi fan, you're going to love it.
Oh, and did I forget to mention that there is some canon man on man kissing involved...? (see icon)
