Be prepared for whining and panicking

I have signed up for the Hawaii Five-0 Big Bang. I already know what I'm going to write in theory, but this could have been a huge mistake. Oh, well.

On the plus side, got an apple pie in the oven, ribs in the slow cooker and dinner with the neighbour and her kids planned.

h5-0 big bang, panic, non-fic

I look forward to it greatly.

I would look forward to apple pie as well, but I don't think it'd far well being posted from Sweden to the UK ;-)

I might ask you to read it, later on, but not beta unless you want to spend the time on it. I'm asking for a beta through the community so don't feel you have to. But I might want a fresh set of eyes every so often.

I have an idea already so I think I can do it. Also it has a deadline so I can work to it.

Diner was great. It was these ribs http://recipesandrants.webs.com/apps/blog/show/7206230-crockpot-bbq-ribs Super simple and very, very tasty

You know, while I enjoy cooking most of the time, I just don't have the patience to prepare elaborate meals like you do! The most effort I put into was experimenting with Heston Blumenthal's bangers & mash recipe, which I took a shortcut by not making my own sausages, and that took about 3-4hours to make. But OMG, it was sooooo goood! And now I have a ridiculous standard when it comes to bangers & mash which means I still haven't found a pub in town (so far) that could compare with what I made, which is a shame, cos I really can't be bothered most of the time to go through that tedious process!

It's late, I'm babbling. And now I'm craving for sausage... damn.

I crave that too as there aren't bangers here, loads of sausage but of the hot dog variety. I can make them myself, but that is a faff.

Tell you what to invest in, a slow cooker. Bang it all in and leave it. The ribs are super easy, and delicious. They cook while you do other things. Be good for over winter as you can make stews that are ready for when you get home from work.

I do have a slow cooker. Not a very big one, but I have one. Problem is I'm generally running half an hour behind in the mornings. I'm just not a morning person, and anything other than dressing and pouring milk over cereal is considered too much. :P

Might be able to do it on weekends though, depending. Any simple recipes you can share?
