Hello folks. I did it, finished the Hawaii Five-0 Big Bang. 70 000 words, more or less. The target was 40K so I overshot, somewhat. Anyway, the master post for the story is here.

It's an historical AU, set in 1914 Egypt and turned out kind of like I hoped, which is a surprise for me. The art from cookiemonstaand music mix from stephaniejane2 really add to the whole thing. ( Read more... )

Firstly, the Hawaii Five-0 big bang writing is going well. I have 17K words done of a first draft and I know where the whole story is going. The only problem is, my writing plan to finish in time relies on it being 40K and I have a sneaking suspicion it might not be enough to finish the thing. Oh well, just have to write faster.

I have signed up for the Hawaii Five-0 Big Bang. I already know what I'm going to write in theory, but this could have been a huge mistake. Oh, well.

On the plus side, got an apple pie in the oven, ribs in the slow cooker and dinner with the neighbour and her kids planned.
