LOL! You can like her if you want. I just find her shockingly vulgar, and she seems unaware of the amount of time she's taking, or that there are other people on the show, too.

You're right to bring up Susan Lucci -- I'm surprised by how yawn-tastic she is, too.

You missed her paso? No, you didn't :)

HOW in the sweary mcswearington swearfullness is Cloris still on?

You made me LOL LOL LOL with this! Great way to start a morning! Unfortunately, it's like you said - the fans will keep her in. I agree that she's just a pain with taking way too much time - it's not Mary Tyler Moore, Cloris - it's live TV! give someone else their moment too. For the same reason I think we'll get Susan "Barbie Doll" Lucci for a little while yet. Lance is pretty cute but I don't know if the judges are going to go the distance with his partner - she's a little edgy no? I'm thinking Warren will go the distance.

Oh - almost forgot! Re: the chicken. Don't peel the apples or do peel the apples? Like your idea for a splash of juice at the end, maybe cranberry apple would be a good choice too?

Don't (unless someone in the house has braces, I suppose). I thought the red on the peel looked so pretty and glossy (not as noticeable in the pic, but definitely there in real life) in this dish. Plus, I'm innately lazy and disguise it by saying "it's a quick meal!"

And YES, that juice would be awesome, I think. Frankly, I have white grape in the fridge and would have been equally willing to use that if it looked any drier!

I'm definitely going to try this - maybe on a "girl dinner" night. I think my oldest niece would love helping me cut up apples and splash some juice in at the end.

Mmmm, sounds yummy. I'll have to try this once our temperatures dip below 90 degrees and it actually starts to feel like fall around these parts!
