I'm feeling a little better today. To make the cold worse, my back is aching from lying down so much. :(

Loved the YouTube video but there's no mention of conference name or sponsor - who was it? One church or an organization? Inquiring minds want to know! The music rocked! Was it a great time?

I was saddened by the news of Jeff Healy - that man practically glowed with goodheartedness and soul.

Didn't know that about your nephew but he's doing it up at Columbia and that's really something. Will send prayers up for him that life is long and strong and successful. God, this next generation makes me so hopeful sometimes!

LOL at the mug puns, and yeah, gigantic mugs are where it's AT!

oh -- the conference was a Leadership Conference (Leitungskongress). Our old church in Chicago started an association to help "resource" (as a verb) the church at large. The German arm of the association puts on these conferences, with some help from friends in the U.S. The group that puts on the conferences is called Willow Creek Deutschland.

RIP, Mr. Healey.

Yes, I'm often hopeful about people like my nephew. He's brilliant :)
