Man, I updated about the State of Michigan shutting down, then the state Senate goes and passes a resolution to end it. What a crock of shit - I mean, I never update this thing anymore, and just when I do, they have to go and make my entry absolutely irrelevant ( Read more... )

When i checked freep.com when i got up, it said that the senate finally passed the tax increase so the government is not shutting down. So don't worry if you get screwed over at a gas pump you are safe now!

Being in the Keweenaw Peninsula... yeah, that's exactly why I asked. :)

Plus if he made it up here somehow, I might be inclined to try to visit.

I'm going to be somewhere in the UP, but probably not at Marquette - that's like an 8hr drive, duder.
