[Atsuki has been realizing a notable increase in the numbers of yellow Shinen in the village. That is to say, people are more joyous/happy this week... or at least in the last day or two. [Normally, she'd just think "too bad" and move on. It's unfortunate, but there's nothing she can do about it. However, today she feels almost guilty that she doesn't know any way to help with that--sad, at the very least. She would really like to somehow find a way for him to get a bit of city life here to lessen the homesickness and wants to offer her help if he could find a way, but that seems embarrassing. So after a hesitation:]

Ah-- [Surprised by the contact, she startles slightly and turns a little red. Had her sympathy shown up in her face? (Yes.) She hadn't realized, and she actually starts to move her hands from behind her back before she contains the odd urge to feel her face to check her expression. But that would look ridiculous, so instead she just looks away just slightly.] Anyone'd feel that way. It's a normal reaction. [But inwardly, she's a little confused. Sympathy was normal, but she had felt it more than she would have felt for nearly anyone else. Then again, that always happened around him (or, at least, so she thinks at this point).]
