[Atsuki has been realizing a notable increase in the numbers of yellow Shinen in the village. That is to say, people are more joyous/happy this week... or at least in the last day or two. There are a few false starts, sounding like she's starting to say "what?" or "hey!" before a short period of silence.]

[She has to keep herself from stepping back when he stands. She had gotten a little closer to him than she had realized when he had been sitting down, so now she has to look a little farther up than usual. If she stepped back, it would look like she was trying to keep her distance and, for some reason she wasn't thinking about, she didn't want to give that sort of impression.

She's guessing that he's just being silly, because that "casting a spell" on him would carry implications that he obviously wouldn't be meaning. Not that she'd want him to.] How? I'm barely an eren, and I'm really not a magical girl. [She's going to take the opportunity of already having a hand up by her face to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear. Because it's in the way. Obviously just that.]

[Sadly, she doesn't really have any feelings about "eren" one way or the other, so it'll probably be left as a mystery to him for now.

Normally, she'd probably think that he was teasing or making fun of her, but him saying it--well, regardless of what's in her heart, it's definitely thumping. It sounds a bit romantic. And she kind of wants to return the smile, but this is getting kind of embarrassing. So instead:]

How could I know that? It's not like I can visit there and find out.
