I love the comments for Ophir. All the negative ones can be summed up as, " Someone make her stop. Please just make her stop."
One of her pet trolls says this: "I was waiting for my bus when I realized that the old lady sitting next to me forgot a book accidentally. I picked up this large book and began reading. It turned out to be an exciting story that I couldn't put down, a bit scary, lots of magic, and more adults should read it."
Because an old lady is going to read that tripe. Right. Okay. Then her pet troll goes on to talk about how she made her two! classrooms read the darn thing.
But it's balanced off with this: "(because really, it feels like the book as a whole, and consequently the author, is trying to shove something spiky and uncomfortable where it shouldn't go)"
But then there's one that gives it five stars and says it needs editing. Huh. The pet trolls might be getting smarter, even if this one does go on to say that we should shut up and be glad young people want to write.
I checked out the reviewer in question who made the old lady claim (http://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-reviews/A21YCQ85Q7AU37/ref=cm_cr_pr_auth_rev?ie=UTF8&sort_by=MostRecentReview)--and look! The troll reviewer wrote I was waiting for my bus when I realized that the old lady sitting next to me forgot a book accidentally. I picked up this large book and began reading. It turned out to be an exciting story that I couldn't put down, a bit scary, lots of magic, and more adults should read it for both Ophir and Seven Bridges! Nice job, Gloria/Troll. I also really find the comments people put on these/the negative reviews really funny.
