So there have been a lot of talks about just what would make an Eragon rewrite work. I've been in on the discussions myself. Now I'm going to give it a try. I'm going to keep the same basic plot as the original but try to present it in a fashion which makes it more appealing ( Read more... )

When you're finished, you should change the names and try to get it published. If anyone accuses you of plagiarism, just say you were inspired by general fantasy tropes. Your move Paolini. XD

Eh, the principle may be sound ,but I think you over-corrected. There were maybe better ways of phrasing the same feedback. Remember you weren't addressing Paolini himself.
