there are some really really good fics in psych fandom! because I am compulsive like that, here are some recs, if you tend to shawn/gus:

for short and hilarious, try intervention and other ploys, by manicjoy, for the prompt "cockblock." "'His silly hair and boyish smile conceal inept social manners and a tendency to underperform in be'--You're taking shots at my sexual performance now? That is harsh, Gus, and patently untrue. I am amazing in bed. Also, what's this about 'His best friend will kill you' and this comment that calls you my 'suspected gay lover'?"

for a really fabulous shawn voice - head wounds are only part of the package, by everysecondtues. Gus starts dating Kim, and Shawn, who's always been in love with Gus, has to cope.

for HILARITY and meta - gus goes for the gold star, by liviapenn. if you know about yuletide, this will increase the funny.
