Wow.. that *is* pretty late...
It was odd asking him though, as I was getting ready to leave, and wasn't expecting to see him running to go take a pee while I was making sure that I had all my rolls of film. I found his reaction to be quite amusing.
I have a tendency to ask famous people absurd questions:
-Bjork: "Were you adopted" her reply being "Absolutely NO WAY"
-Mike Patton: "So, are you a groupie or a member of the band?" his reply being "What band??"
Bjork: that's who you remind me of with your LJ pic (the one I got into trouble about!)
Mike Patton: loved his singing voice (not the growl or rap stuff)
Years ago, I was a big UFO fan from when I was a wee lad (okay so I'm not so tall now either!) and I found myself behind their bassist in a supermarket queue. He waited until I'd got through the check-out so we could chat, which is how nice a guy he is. I then told him how rough his new ep sounded as a reward for this kindness.
