I just couldn't do it last night... I was home, I was free, I looked at the clock and saw it was Dollhouse time...and then I did something else.

Perfectly understandable.

You didn't miss much. This one was spinning its wheels more than usual, and if the best they can come up with for the incidental characters is to play LazerQuest (or whatever it was) as a subplot, whilst Ballard angrily knobs his mole Doll neighbour again, well...what's the point?
