It was disconcerting when part of the bus headed off in quite a different direction. The rest of the bus unfailingly followed, so I suppose one would get used to it. I kind of liked it, but it did feel funny.

y'know the 'Burgh has a few bendy buses of its own.
they're a trip (ha! sorry) to ride... especially in the bendy part!

You people speak as though you've never seen segmented buses before! Here I thought that every major city with mass transit had a couple. All right, they're not common, but neither are they rare.

The hills. It must be the hills and that the segmented ones work better on the flat.

I'm sure I've seen articulated buses in other cities, as well, but I'd never noticed one in Pittsburgh. I'll have to keep an eye out, the next time I'm back East. (Ha! Back East! That sounds so ridiculous.)
