Straw hat?
All I know about it right now is that it's a mysterious cobalt-blue film which is applied to the copper plates. I've seen plates around the studio with the stuff on them, and with definite photo halftoning. I'll know more on Monday.

Interesting . . . the cobalt-blue film sounds a bit like the kind we used in silkscreening, and it's probably photosensitive or something of the sort. I'm all curious now.
If you can, would you ask about straw hat? I never did get the time to write down the method, and the person I've learned it from has a habit of systematically destroying his braincells. Sigh.
