This quiz seems to be making the rounds. Even Geoffrey Chaucer is posting his results. It is with little surprise that I find myself to be described as a Battleaxe.

I rather suspect that I am a Priss, and I also rather suspect that this quiz was written entirely by males, because the only way the Priss would consider the Manchild is to inspect what noxious substance has adhered to the bottom of her shoe, and what would be best to scrape it off.

Should the need arise, may I borrow your battle axe?

Regarding the Manchild: ewwww. Yes. I suppose there are probably some icky controlling women out there who would keep such a man around, just so they could treat him like a small child and feel superior. But it's very interesting that they describe the guy as "unthinking and hurtful," and say "there are plenty of women out there who do deserve you," then imply that women who are "intelligent, perceptive, and confident" are the deserving ones.

(Will try to stop grumbling now about how the vast majority of people in our current society dislike smart women. Grr.)
