Two years in a row, I did one of those New Year memes, where you fill in a couple of dozen questions about what you did during the year, which new people you met, whether anyone was born or died, and so on. Two years in a row, half my answers turned out to be painfully, horribly wrong before the new year had even gotten as far as February

Hey, I don't know if you recognize my lj name but I'm Sarah, aka palliddreamer's girlfriend. After your tutelage in dessert sushi the other night, I tried making some real sushi of my own today. The rolls aren't exactly nice looking, but they stayed together and are quite tasty. Thanks for the instruction! There are (blurry) pics in my journal if you're interested. And yes, I made way more than I can eat. Ah well.
