Insert appropriate complaint about the past week's weather here. It seems to have calmed down. A curse week? I do hope that will not become a trend.

I am aware that I missed a high-caliber performance of The Tempest. A shame. I hope Autor-san had a merry birthday ( Read more... )

Ah, yes, has no one given them to you?

The oldest and the one which I was given on my arrival here.

A more recent guide published during my time here.

The performance was wonderful, a pity you were unable to see it. And I'm glad to note that the weather curse has finished.

If I am fortunate, there will be another performance in the future, one that I am able to attend.

If only it could the be noted that that would be the worst the City could spring on us.

Yes, I've heard of curses worse than this.

Ah, I am Professor William Wordsworth, pleased to meet you.

Ishida Uryuu. Likewise.

How long have you been here, Professor? I have experienced a few curses worse.

... There has been dreadful negligence this time.

There are two of note, or at least, two that are often given. The first is the oldest, written months before I arrived: Here.

The second was written not long after I arrived in the City: Here. It is to be fewed as an update to the first, read in company.

I see. Thank you for the information. It helps clear a few things up.

No need to thank me. Those posts are standard among the citizens. That you had not yet been given either is surprising.

Mm, it is a shame that you missed The Tempest. The entire performance was splendid.

However, I did have a good birthday. Thank you very much for my presents!

I understand that you performed well on piano.

[ooc: Ishida, realizing that he cannot really say no need to thank me over birthday presents, resorts to the utter genius of um, just not acknowleding it! ]

Haha, well...I did practice a lot, of course. Back at home I was at the top of my class until I started my Drosselmeyer research.

So, you attended a school for music, focusing on the piano?
