thought-provoking....

Some cultures people starve themselves and end up with diseases and health problems related to low-weigh... and yet in other cultures they endanger health at the other end of the spectrum...

too bad no cultures seem to be interested in an individual's "inner beauty"....

In many pre-Industrial cultures, being overweight was a sign of being wealthy. This, to me, sounds like one of those emic-etic discontinuities.
