It's pouring buckets outside. An absolute deluge.

I ran out into it and was soaked to the skin in under a minute. No thundering, no chill, just the beat of the rain - it drowned out my voice.

I feel so joyful right now for being alive and human.

yeah, it's been raining in this area too for about three days. it stops, then it starts again hard, fades, and the whole cycle starts again. i kind of miss the sun even though storms are cool, because i can't go swimming.

I admit, I do miss the sun. Summer light trumps summer rain for sure.

Ever gone swimming in the rain? If there's no lightning and you can keep your towel dry, it's fun. :)

I like a lot that you did. I'm always a bit sad when people want to put one save and dry whenever an actually wonderful summer rain appears.

Life is a cool thing. I'm feeling that even on a day like today where not all things run perfect.

Now that you mention that, I realize we're lucky, too, to live in a time when summer rain can be enjoyed - in Jane Austen's time playing in the rain could get you the influenza!

Hey, I wanted to share this with you. I found a new artist, well, she isn't new, but I'd never heard of her. She's from Montreal, and she sings in French and in English, but she has the most beautiful accent and her music is exquist!
