Got a promotion and a dollar raise at work. I now work full time up here at Moran Cadillac, meaning no more driving to and from Clinton Township for me anymore, hahaha, which will save me at least $55 in gas a week ( Read more... )

Woke up at 10, ate breakfast, and went back to bed. Woke up at 1, went out at 3 to get a haircut, but the haircut place was closed. Came back home at 3:20. Sat around, played my guitar, learned part of a Between the Buried and Me song (Selkies), ate dinner, and here I sit.

I injured my right knee somehow on Sunday night, and now I can't completely straighten it, and the joint itself is very weak...like, if I put too much pressure on it while walking/standing/stepping, it just completely gives way and I almost fall over, but the weird thing is...it doesn't hurt...like when it gives way, it feel it, but it isn't so ( Read more... )

It feels good to play a show again, even though we only had half the band (Me, Mike, and Chris), no second guitar (Adam didn't come to the show), and had two guest vocalists (Jeff didn't come either) because we were asked to play like 5 minutes before the show started, and we didn't even decide to play until like right before Ante Up started. Not much to say right now. This weekend hasn't been too eventful, but it hasn't been too bad, either. Hung out with Jodi on Friday. That was very nice. Who's heard it? I actually like it. It's soooooooo much more different from their old stuff. A few parts even hint a bit of emo, at least, as far as the guitars go. I like it a lot.
