Today has been either up or down. My morning was down; the newspaper was up, because you really can't invent those things, and down because some of it scared me, and I bought a copy to keep; lunch was odd because I spoke to no one until the end and just went places and bought things, and redeemed by the large sheet of bubblewrap that somebody left ( Read more... )

the bubblewrap sounds like my idea of heaven :D
*hugs* I'm sorry I was rude over the phone. it really meant a lot just that you wanted to come and waited around for it and were annoyed about not being able to make it.
if it's any consolation. I'm sure there'll be other stuff I can drag you to see me in to at a later date.
I hope you feel better soon babe. I will send you irritating emails and texts until you do.
*hugs again*
good luck with the work.

The bubblewrap was really rather awesome; jumping up and down on it made me feel really very happy indeed. I got some odd looks, even from Bucky and Rose, but it was woth it.

*hugs* Don't worry; and I'm the one who should be apologising. (And speaking of dragging to stuff -- which I will definitely drag myself to on time, next time -- have you seen Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead? And if not, do you want to? :D)

*hugs @nto* You do not let people down whenever you are able! You are the present-giving, proof-reading, poet and playwright extraordinaire! (wow, alliteration! Even better). I recommend hot chocolate and chocolate digestive biscuits, with a Terry Pratchett and/or Neil Gaiman book in bed, followed by a heavy dose of sleep. I am now going to follow my own advice and go to bed. Night night! Hope you have a better day tomorrow (well, today). xxxx

Btw, abandoned bubble wrap on the pavement?! Dude!! Why does that never happen to me?!

*hugs* Eee. *goes nicely pink*

I think I sort of followed your advice - well, the reading a book part and the going to sleep part, certainly. :D And I don't know - obviously I have some kind of guardian angel who tries to make up for my impending bad day by giving me bubblewrap?

I've had those sorts of days (recently in fact; the universe seems as if it's trying to sabotauge my entire f-list lately, which is rather rotten).

(Bubble wrap is quite nice, though. Even my father can't resist it. :))

It does; mybe there's some kind of memetic virus infecting us through the interwebs? Something subliminal, perhaps; we can't see it, can't hear it and can only detect it by it's symptons - and we know it's spreading...

...sounds like the plot of some medical epidemic disaster movie, really, doesn't it?

(It is rather good; I couldn't not jump up and down on it. I don't think I would have resisted if my headmaster had been watching me, either - there are some opportunities far too good to pass up, y'know?)

Taking into consideration the fact that it's been up & down -- I hope the rest of the day is an x2 curve? ♥

... purplefringe stole what I was about to say. Yeah. You do NOT let people down 'whenever you are able'. That's one thing you basically do the opposite of. (I'm sure I could say that more coherently, but Peroni stole my duvet last night and I'm tired.) Also, I know the feeling. I would tell you that it IS worth it, but then I'd be a hypocrite. All we can do is just keep going... *hugs*

Mm. I still hold that I manage to do it really rather a lot; but even so. :D I'm far happier than I was when I wrote that, and it was a little overdramatic. :P

Cats are sneaky little buggers, aren't they? :D

That is a common misconception, but I am afraid you're incorrect; livejournal is in fact simply a vehicle for creating gargantuan and eccentric tag clouds...
