That happened to me once. Except it was a text on a train on the way to We Will Rock You. I worried all night, and the next day about them (both friends), until I took one to the cinema to see Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Man's Chest, and was perfectly happy she was as OK as she kept saying she was. Then I saw the other friend about a week later and was happy that he was also as OK as he kept saying he was...
...Damn, that wasn't as subtle as it was meant to be...

We were fine, though, and we were lucky (in some ways, certainly), because we were at a stage where it was really fairly pain-free...
