Belated beach pics as promised! Because I haven't posted enough pictures of Hebridean beaches before :} All these pictures were taken on Traigh na Berie or Reef Beach which is without question my favourite place in the world. I seem to have a deep seated need to get to Reef once a year to blow the cobwebs away and they certainly got blown away

Certainly some dramatic skies! At least they were cause by wind and rain, rather than by smoke. Friday we had so much smoke in the air that Spokane was considered to have the most polluted air of any place in the US. You could see it, feel it and taste it. Smoke hung in the air like fog, turned the sun red or covered it completely. There was a most unnatural glow to the afternoon.
