Over the last week I've travelled the length of the UK - from the Outer Hebrides, to Glasgow, to Cardiff, to Greenwich, and back to Glasgow. I got back home late on Thursday night and seem to have spent most of the weekend doing laundry. My visit to Greenwich was fleeting and sadly I didn't get to see anything of the National Maritime Museum, but

She's a splendid ship! I have no idea what kind of lights they were using to illuminate her masts but they were incredibly bright and really did make her shine. I wish I'd been able to go aboard :}

She is somehow not quite real, like something from a dream. The blue and white are like moonlight and water.

Very pretty. I have ship pictures as well as maps with which to decorate my study, but I feel it may need some model ships too.

You won't be surprised that I've got several ship pictures and maps on my walls too :) I've stopped short at ship models so far, but they're very tempting...
