I am sure that enough of the other residents have made preparations. There seem to be many people experienced in dealing with chaotic events here.

I am simply ensuring good luck for the new year. However, it seems I lack the proper bread.

[From the sound of her accent, the woman is Scottish. So she should at least have heard to the ritual, if not seen it.]
