heh, i like how accepted and normal male relationships are in this go world. waya as the player type works in some way - i think i like how he's not fooling himself, and he knows that his "substitutes" aren't working for him.
Thanks. I think I prefer the normalcy to the dramalama that many authors approach. For all of its traditional elements, the God world seems pretty accepting. Then again, maybe we're at a point where Touya Akira can do whatever he wants and no one would dare say a word against him >D
Oh my God, I absolutely adore this fic and your narrative voice that exudes Waya-ness. I love the first line of this fic, how it states something that should mean so much in such a straightforward and absolutely casual way, in a tone that feels as if that sentence might just be about the weather. I love that even though Waya sleeps with a different man in each scene, thoughts of Isumi are ineludible and remain a constant throughout the fic, up until the moment when Yang Hai tells Waya the other side of the story. And I love the last line, because it squishes my heart in so many beautiful ways that I can't help but smile. I can't wait until reveals are up so I can properly stalk you. Thank you for writing this, I loved it <3
haha, sorry the delay in replying to this, but please feel free to stalk away. I've just achived a new version of this piece (because grammar is my friend, I swear) on my writing comm, so feel free to enjoy it there as well.
Thank you so much for the comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Not to be utterly corny, but I like to think we all find some range of happy ending eventually. Hard to believe in the times we live in, but it's a nice thought at least. ^^
